Ambulance Permits

The Riverside County EMS Agency (REMSA) permits ambulances as:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS)
  • Critical Care Transport (CCT)

Read Ordinance 756, establishing regulations for ALS ambulance, air ambulance, BLS ambulance and critical care transport providers.

Program Details

Public Access Defibrillation

Thank you for your interest in starting a public access defibrillation (PAD) program. Early defibrillation has been proven to save lives and improve outcomes from cardiac arrest.

What you will need:

  • An organization
  • Members or employees
  • Training in CPR
  • An Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Integration with the local EMS system
  • Maintenance of skills and equipment
  • Compliance with California regulations
