Events & Training

We strive to provide current training opportunities to professional emergency management personnel and volunteers. In addition to having a wealth of knowledgeable subject matter experts and trainers on staff, we regularly brings in new courses and instructors to the Operational Area.

Please note that many classes offered are open only to County of Riverside employees or members of the Operational Area. Community members interested in volunteer opportunities should review training courses listed "For Volunteers" or visit the RivCoReady site.  Professionals interested in attending EMD courses may be asked to show proof that they are an official representative of an organization conducting emergency management. If you are unclear if you meet the minimum requirements for a course, please contact EMDTraining@rivco.org.
